  • Herbs as Medicine 101

    Covering about a dozen herbs well suited to harvest in the Okanogan Co., wild crafting or growing in your garden. We’ll look at how to look at herbs from different perspectives and see how certain qualities allow you to substitute one for another.

  • Herbal Remedies for Infants and Young Children

    Class will cover some common discomforts of the early years; including: colic, skin irritations, colds, earaches and stomachaches. There will be kid friendly teas among other preparations.

  • Herbal Aphrodisiacs

    Introducing botanicals which help the body physically, emotionally and creatively support it’s own sexuality. Ideas for supporting the health and functioning of organs and systems of the body will be discussed. Herbally delightful teas, tinctures,and massage oils will be discussed and sampled.

  • Herbal Adaptogens

    Intro to herbs that help us adapt to a physically and emotionally stressful world and support the bodies return to homeostatis. Allowing our bodies to use energy more efficiently.

  • Approaching Menopause with Herbal Allies

    This class will cover information on reproductive health and organ support through herbal formulas and diet. We will discuss some of the discomforts of menopause including, hot flashes, insomnia, , osteoporosis, libido and other estrogen related topics.

  • Herbal Allies for Men’s Health

    We will cover health concerns more common to men in this society. We’ll discuss cardiac function prostate function, kidney health, gout, libido etc.

  • Nourishing Organs From The Top Down

    A look into the  nutrients and herbs and other forms of nourishing that support the structure and function of our vital organs. Starring: The Brain, Heart, Adrenals, Kidneys, Liver and Colon.

  • Herbal Tea Blending

    Learn to choose herbs for their flavor, aroma, mood enhancing or general wellbeing properties. Get to know herbs individually for taste and smell and medicinal  value as well as for richness and body, and how to make well rounded blends.

  • Herbal Care for our Animal Friends

    Basic, natural care and maintenance of animals on the farm or in our homes. 

    Class will cover: Injuries and wound care, worming, colic etc. mainly focusing on horse and dog issues.

  • Young Women's Herbal Allies

    This class is designed to introduce young women to herbal tools to support their bodies and take control of their own well-being in this 1st phase of their womanhood. It is an introduction to the smells and tastes of herbs and how they affect various systems of the body.
